Mrs. Adeline L. Birch

Services for Mrs. Adeline L. (Waters) Birch, 73, formerly of 2540 Elm St. will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the DeWachter-Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Ave., where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Birch, who was born Nov. 22, 1913, in Dubuque, died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 1987 at Dubuque Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish and the Retired Bowling Association.

Her husband, Alfred G., died April 27, 1983.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Rose Mary) Haskell of Dubuque and Mrs. James (Shirley) Stecklein of Bernard, Iowa; a son, Alfred "Tom" of Dubuque; and 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
