Services for David J. Birch, 31, 1800 Central Ave., will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gene Siegert & Son Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Birch was employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Co., for the past two years.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1964, in Dubuque, son of David G. and Diane M. (Brillhart) Birch.

He was born and raised in Dubuque. He attended Dubuque Senior High School.

Surviving are his parents, David G. and Diane M. (Brillhart) Birch, of Belmont, Calif.; two sons, David Joseph, Jr. and Jonathan, of Dubuque; a daughter, Savannah Lynn, of Dubuque; a brother, Robert M. Birch, of Belmont, Calif.; two sisters, Michelle Ann (Greg) Siegert, and Robin M. Lyle, both of Dubuque; four nieces and two nephews; his maternal grandmother, Maureen Brillhart, of East Dubuque, Ill.; his fiancee, Angie Ingles, of Dubuque; and long-time friends, Chuck, Tim and Linda Lyons, of Dubuque.

A David J. Birch Memorial Fund has been established.
