William Sahm

William Sahm, 78, died Saturday morning at 6 o'clock following a lingering illness at the residence of his brother, Herman Sahm, Bankston.

The body is at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in the Centralia Cemetery. The Rev. H. L. Daugs, pastor of the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Mr. Sahm was born in Dubuque April 18, 1861, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gotfried Sahm, and for many years was engaged in farming near Twin Springs, Ia. He retired two years ago and moved to Bankston.

Surviving are his brothers, Herman Sahm, Bankston, and Richard Sahm, Twin Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
