Sister M. Benjamin Sachs, BVM

Sister Mary Benjamin Sachs, BVM, 93, died at 10:50 p.m. Saturday at Marian Hall Infirmary.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Marian Hall Infirmary Chapel, where friends may call until 8 p.m. Monday.

Sister Mary Benjamin, the former Loretta Sachs, was born in Chicago. She entered the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Dec. 8, 1904, and taught in grade schools of the community. She retired to Mount Carmel in 1970, and moved to Marian Hall the same year.

There are no immediate survivors.

The Strueber Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
