Leonard Digman, 77, a retired farmer, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence, 609 E. Hamilton street, Dyersville, after a brief illness.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Kramer funeral home, Dyersville, to St. Francis Xavier church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Digman was born April 8, 1876, at Dyersville. On Jan. 22, 1895, he married Clara Henry at Dyersville.
Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lukan and Mrs. Joseph Milbert, both of Dyersville; two sons, Albert Digman, of Dyersville, and Andrew Digman, of Dubuque; one brother, Anton Digman, of Dyersville; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Schindler, and Mrs. Margaret Steger, both of Dyersville, and Mrs. Anna Schindler, of Trempealeau, Wis.; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A son, one brother and two sisters preceded him.
