Farley Man Dies As Result of Burns

Farley, Ia. , Feb. 22 - Special: Louis J. Hill, 35, who sustained burns last Saturday in the yard of his home while lightening a lantern, died Friday afternoon at his home here. The remains were taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Bertha Slaven, Friday, from where the funeral will be held Monday morning to St. Joseph’s Church at 9:30 o’clock. Burial will be made in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Hill had been engaged in farming in this community during his life time. He was born in Taylor Township Sept. 11, 1896. His marriage to Miss Hilda Kramer took place June 14, 1921, and to this union four children were born, one daughter died three years ago.

Besides his wife, Mr. Hill is survived by one daughter, Imogene; two sons, James and John ; four sisters, Mrs. William O’Meara, Mrs. Bernard Slavin, Mrs. George Huber, Farley, and Mrs. James Horsfield, Jr., Epworth; and one brother, Frank, Galena.
