Mrs. Eva Birch

Mrs. Eva Birch, 87, of 911 Locust St., died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the family residence.

She was the widow of Melvin D. Birch, who died in 1939.

Services will be at a.m. Monday at Behr's with burial in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Behr's.

Mrs. Birch was born in Saginaw, Mich. She was a member of Westminster Church, and the Rebekah Lodge 173.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Virginia) Bryant of Arvada, Colo.; six sons, David, James and Howard Birch, all of Dubuque, Carl Birch of Houston, Tex.; Melvin Birch of Westminster, Colo.; and Kenneth Swift of Clawson, Mich.; 25 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.
