Shirley A. "Chuck" Radtke, 46, of 617 Rhomberg Ave., died at 5:29 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m.

She was born on June 28, 1960, in Rhinelander, Wis., daughter of Roger Apfel and Delores (Jack) Krumweide.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.

She enjoyed fishing and collecting angels and brass.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her husband, Michael P. Radtke, of Dubuque; a son, MicHeal J. (Megan) Radtke, of Dubuque; a daughter, DeeAnna (Jamie Schmitz) Radtke, of Dubuque; a granddaughter, Morgan Radtke; her mother, Delores (Jack) Krumweide, of Luana, Iowa; three brothers, Jim (Carla) Apfel, Bob Apfel, and Donald (Molly) Krumweide; five sisters, Roxanne Apfel, Cindy Parker, Dawn Apfel, Rogette Apfel and Jackie (Mike) Moody; and two special friends, Nett Potaczek and Cindy Thurston.

She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Mike and Willy Apfel; and a sister, Jeannette Krumweide.

A Shirley A. Radtke Memorial Fund has been established.
