Doris A. (Wehrspann) Thiltgen, 63, of Sunnycrest Manor, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Sunnycrest.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2659 Kennedy Road. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Sherrill, Iowa. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1946, in Dubuque, daughter of Elmer and Lydia (Duerr) Wehrspann. She married LaVern Thiltgen on Dec. 8,1990; he preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2007.

Surviving are four sisters, Margaret Makovec, of Dubuque, Wilma Spear, of Asbury, Iowa, Lucille (Roger) Riechmann, of Dubuque, and Alvina (Eldred) Timmerman, of Cuba City, Wis.; her sister-in-law, Lynn Wehrspann, of Sherrill, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Irene Beauchamp; and two brothers, Martin and William "Billy" Wehrspann.
