Mrs. Jacob Cook died 1896

Mrs. Jacob Cook died at her home Sunday evening, aged 66 years. Deceased was born in Germany and came to this country when quite young, coming to Dubuque, where she continued to reside until her death. She was twice married, her first husband being Henry Trapp and her second Jacob Cook, both of whom are dead.

She is survived by one son by her first husband. Frank Trapp, sawyer at the Standard Lumber Company mill, and three children by her second husband. Jacob, who works at Molo’s Philip, at P. Hansen’s and a daughter now living at Thief River, Minn.

Mrs. Cook was a devout member of the Catholic Church, a kind neighbor and a warm friend, and sincere sorrow will be expressed over her death. She was ready to go being assured that there was eternal rest for her beyond the grave.
