Paul E. Becker, 41, of 3718 Pennsylvania Ave., died at 10:12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St.

Paul was employed as a tuckpointer for Alan Jackson Tuckpointing.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1966, in Dubuque, son of Donald F. and Barbara E. (Scheppele) Becker. He was a graduate of Central Alternative High School.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding and camping with his children, Amber and Austin.

Paul loved life and could always make you laugh or smile. He was ready to help anyone and was often asked to help with odd jobs. He was very supportive of his children and eager to attend their functions. He will be deeply missed but always remembered.

Surviving are his former wife, Jane M. Becker, of Dubuque; his children, Amber R. Becker and Austin L. Becker, both of Dubuque; his parents, Donald and Barbara Becker, of Dubuque; three sisters, Judith A. (Dale) Kress, of Dubuque, Janet E. (Chris) Nolta, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Gwendolyn M. Becker, of St. Donatus, Iowa; two brothers, Richard D. (Cathy) Becker, of Dubuque, and David J. (Tami) Becker, of East Dubuque, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.

A Paul E. Becker Memorial Fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
