Kathryn A. (Kuehnle) Frommelt 1927-2015

Kathryn A. (Kuehnle) Frommelt, 87, of Dubuque passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Luther Manor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Rev. Dwayne Thoman officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1640 Main St.

Kathryn was born May 7, 1927 in Dubuque, daughter of Louis and Mae (Billmeyer) Kuehnle. She married William Frommelt on June 22, 1949 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Dubuque.

She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and was employed at Dubuque Bank and Trust Company, retiring in 1990.

She and William "Bill" traveled to all 50 states and many other places around the world. She was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity parish.

Surviving is her husband, William "Bill" Frommelt, of Dubuque; a son, Bill T. (Mary Kay) Frommelt, of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Mary K. Borders of Roseville, Calif., and Sue (Bud) May, of Rockford, Ill; three grandchildren, Andy, Sarah and Joe May; a sister, Lou Ann (Tom) Kress, of Rossford, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Marion McCarville, of Marion, IA

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John; a sister-in-law, Joan Pierce; and a son-in-law, Curtis Borders.
