Craig Colton Olson

Craig Colton Olson age 52 of 24183 Centerville Road LaMotte died at 5:40 PM Friday Sept. 30, 2011 at home following a long courageous battle with Cancer. According to his wishes there will be no visitation or services. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory 2595 Rockdale Road is in charge of arrangements.

Craig was born on May 3, 1952 in Prairie Du Chen, WI the son of Wayne and Dixie (Goltz) Olson. After sharing many years together he married Lorna Jean Pline on Sept. 25, 2010 in LaMotte.

He worked for Eagle Window and Door for 19 years and enjoyed time outdoors with his family and friends. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Old Milwaukee Beer and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Lorna and their 4 children Corey, Casey, Lori, and Codey all of La Motte, his brother Randy Olson of Dubuque and 4 sisters Cathy (Don) Schlickman of Dubuque, Dixene (Terry) Price of Independence, IA, Chris Beckman of Dubuque and Pam (Ron) Miller of Escondido, CA his Mother-in-law Gloria Pline of Dubuque and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Ronald Pline. Many thanks' to Craig's family and friends that helped through out his illness.

Special thanks to all his fellow workers at Eagle Window and Door, to Mike Goin and his brother Randy and to all the health care professionals especially Dr Christine Holm and the oncology staff at Medical Associates and the Wendt Center and to Hospice of Dubuque especially Kristina for all the loving care and kindness they all gave to Craig.
