Mrs. Elizabeth Waller Simpson, 88, 1442 Delhi Street, widow of John R. Simpson, and a member of a prominent pioneer family died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Finley Hospital, after an extended illness.

The body is at the Egelhof Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Friday to noon Saturday. Services will be private. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
