Mrs. Catherine Schroeder died at Mercy Hospital Monday morning at 12:25 o'clock. She had been ill for the past month and seriously ill for the last two weeks.

Mrs. Schroeder was born March 20, 1858, in Dubuque, Iowa and has lived in Dubuque all of her life.

She is survived by one son, Arthur J. and a daughter Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Powers, and a brother Frank Wellhoefer.

One son, Frank Heins preceded her in death in 1919 and her husband in 1929.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning from the family home, 794 Dodge Street to St. Raphael's Cathedral at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in Mt. Ca;vary Cemetery.
