Perry Funeral Held

Funeral services for William Perry, 53, who drowned Sunday afternoon after falling from a boat into the river south of Julien Dubuque Bridge, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Behr Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph Wells, superintendent of the City Mission, officiating, burial was in Linwood Cemetery.

The body was recovered at a point near where the drowning occurred by the Dubuque Fire Department Monday afternoon.

Mr. Perry had no known relatives, although Coroner Norbert Behr was trying Tuesday to locate a sister, who according to the police department, lives in Cedar Rapids.
