Services for Herbert M. Meehan, who died Saturday morning, were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Strueber Funeral Home, with the Rev. C. Engler, of St Mary’s Church officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery, with Father Engler officiating.

The VFW conducted military rites at the graveside, under the command of Melvin J. Kenneally. Herman Koernschield was captain, and Eldo Block was bugler. The color detail and firing squad included Fred J. Hufrill, T. J. Collins, Richard Sullivan, George Connolly, Louis Breitbach and Robert Dunphy.

Pallbearers were William Hancock, William Frye, Nicholas Grevas, Jerome Bussan, Albert Koenig and Raymond Cummings.
