PASSES TO REWARD

Christian C. Lembke, aged fifty-five years, passed away at the home of his parents, 2249 Jackson Street, Friday morning at 1 o’clock after an illness of one year.

The deceased was born in Dubuque June 13, 1862 where he resided all his life. He was educated in the local schools, and had been engaged in the harness business since 1882. In 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss Bertha A. Leist of this city.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother Elizabeth, one son, Clarence and four daughters, Edna, Bonnibelle and Viola of Dubuque, and Mrs. Gus Nickolson, of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Tischer and Miss Sophia; and one brother, Louis J. of Dubuque.

The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence, 2249 Jackson Street, to St. John’s Cemetery.
