Services for Nancy E. Huss, 48, 583 Fenelon Place, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nativity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the Gene Siegert Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where the scripture wake survives will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Huss died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Unit of Mercy Health Center. She was born in Dubuque and was a registered nurse at Manor Care Nursing Center. She was a member of the Nativity Rosary Society, past secretary of the Nativity Guild, past president of the Nativity Parish Council and past rector of the Nativity C.E.W.

Surviving are her husband, Robert J., four daughters, Edith “Edie” Huss of Iowa City, Iowa, and Mary M., and Carol L., all at home; two sons, James R. of Iowa City, and Christopher J. at home; her mother Edith (Wurst) Ryder of Dubuque: a sister, Joanne Thinnes, of Marion, Ia., William J. Ryder of Dubuque and Thomas J. Ryder of Maquoketa, Iowa.

A Nancy E. Huss Memorial Fund has been established.
