BANKSTON BABY DIED OF
BOILING COFFEE SCALDS

An 11 month old Bankston boy died Friday evening at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque of burns received Thursday when a container of boiling coffee was accidentally upset.

The child is Gerald James Hagerty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis G. Hagerty of Bankston.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sanner Funeral Home, Farley.

Funeral services will be held at 9:10 a.m. Monday from the funeral home to St. Clements Catholic Church, Bankston, where the Mass of the Angels will be offered at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Clements Cemetery, Bankston.

Gerald James Hagerty was born Jan. 30, 1954, in Dubuque.

Survivors are his parents; a sister, Carolyn; four brothers, David, Ronald, Steven and Billy; his maternal grandmother Mrs. Loretta Donahue, Dubuque and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Hagerty, Bankston.
