REQUIEM MASS
FOR SISTER MARY

FUNERAL SERVICES MONDAY MORNING
IN CHAPEL OF ST. FRANCIS CONVENT
~
This morning at 8:30 o'clock a solemn requiem mass was read in the chapel of St. Francis Convent for Sr. Mary Fidelis, who passed away at that institution Saturday morning. Rev. Father J. P. Baumann, chaplain at the convent, was celebrant. Father William Weirich, pastor of Holy Ghost Church, deacon; Father John of Holy Trinity, sub-deacon, and Father Kempker, chaplain of St. Francis Home for the Aged, master of ceremonies. The priests in the sanctuary were, Rev. Fathers, A. A. Boeding, of Sacred Heart; Herbers of Columbia College, and Francis of Holy Trinity.

Of the one hundred and fifty sisters in attendance forty were from out of the city. Sr. Mary's mother, Mrs. E. Flynn, of Mt. Vernon, Ia., was at the service but on account of illness her father was unable to attend.

The services at the graveside in the cemetery at the convent were conducted by Father Kempker.
