Mrs. Janet Niabit Aitchison Fairburn, for many years a resident of Cascade, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Montgomery Bell, in Marion, Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock, and the news was received with genuine sorrow by all who knew and highly esteemed the deceased lady.

The remains were brought to Cascade Thursday morning and taken to the residence of Mr. and Mrs J. F. Anson. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon the funeral occurred, and services were held in the Baptist Church, Rev. H. R. Williams preached the sermon and was assisted by Revs. Beatty and Garrison.

The pallbearers were: Gilbert Macomber, Robert Martin, C. H. Huntington Sr., Joseph Fober, Benj. Hawkins and John Beatty.
