The funeral of the late Terrance Connolly was held Friday morning at Holy Cross and was largely attended by relatives and friends.

The deceased passed away Monday morning at the age of 65 years. His illness was of few days duration. The deceased is survived by his wife and nine children, one daughter preceded him in death eighteen years ago. The children are: Mrs. E. J. Stewart, Chicago; Mrs. Cyrus McQuillen, Holy Cross; Mrs. Mike Sweeney, Dubuque; Tom, Leo, William and John of S. Dakota, Charles and Matilda of Holy Cross.

The funeral took place from the Holy Cross Church, solemn requiem mass being conducted by Father McCaffrey, assisted by Father Clarg, Richardsville, Father Banfield of Bankston, and Father Reinert of Balltown. Father McCaffrey delivered the sermon. Pallbearers were G. W. Carter, Phillip Baxter, Hugh McGuire, J. J. Connolly, and M. L. and J. C. Sweeney.

Those from out of the city who attended the funeral were Miss Ella Donegan, Dubuque; Ray Woodsman, Dubuque; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sweeney, Dubuque.
