DIED IN WORTHINGTON

Mrs. J. Brunkan, an Old Resident of That Place Passes Away
~
Mrs. J. Brunkan of Worthington died at her home last Monday night after an illness of several months, so her death was not unexpected. She was born in Pouriscion, France, Nov. 3, 1824, which makes her 74 years and 2 months of age.

She came to Ohio with her mother; from there she came to Dubuque and was married to Mr. Brunkan in that city in the year 1864. They came here shortly after their marriage and resided on a farm about four miles from this city. They moved to this city about seven years ago, where they have since resided.

She leaves to mourn her death a husband, their one son Jim, who resided on their farm, and a daughter Mary, now Mrs. Sam Kennedy of Chicago.

She lived and died a devout Catholic. The funeral took place last Wednesday morning from St. Paul’s Church in Worthington. The family has the deepest sympathy of their many friends.
