Bankston

John Bankston, aged 26 years, died Sunday morning at 6 o’clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bankston, Jefferson and Spruce streets. He had been sick two years. Four brothers and two sisters survive him. The remains will be forwarded to Farley this morning.

Mr. Bankston was employed at Alden’s Spice Mill for eight years. He then went on the road selling Pyle’s Pearline and continued in this occupation until his sickness compelled him to give it up. He was a genial, popular young man and his former employers speak highly of his character.
