Funeral of Mrs. C. H. Booth Held Yesterday Afternoon

St. John’s Episcopal Church Filled with Sorrowing Friends
~
The last sad rites of ? the remains of the late Mrs. C. H. Booth were performed yesterday afternoon. There was a brief service at her residence, 1270 Main Street, preceding the Episcopal burial services at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 2:00 o’clock. The church was filled with sorrowing friends of the deceased who were gathered to pay their sad tribute of esteem to the deceased. The services were conducted by the Pastor Rev. W. D. Benton, assisted by Rev. W. B. Walker, of Joliet, Ill., former vector of the church. The quartet consisted of Miss Mabel Cox, Mr. White, Mr. Markle and Mr. Mi?-assisted in the service and Miss? sang a beautiful selection. The burial at Linwood was private. Mr. C. H. Booth was not well enough to leave the house.

The pallbearers were ? H. Peabody, James Forester, B. B. Richards, G. H. Grosvenor, Edw. C. ?, Charles Robison, J. K. Deming, and ?. G. Norman.
