FARLEY, Iowa - Services for Arnold M. "Jr." Kremer, 63, 101 Third Ave. S.W., Farley, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Farley, where military rites will be accorded by the Farley American Legion Post 656. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a St. Joseph's Parish rosary at 4 p.m., a wake service at 7:30 p.m., and an American Legion service at 8 p.m.

Mr. Kremer worked at Cascade Lumber Co. for 20 years.

He was born on March 27, 1932, in La Motte, son of Arnold and Veronica (Weisler) Kremer. He died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, at home.

He married JoAnn Markus Hefel on Aug. 3, 1979, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley.

He received his education in the La Motte area schools and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its altar and rosary society and the Farley American Legion Post 656. He was a loving husband, grandpa, son and brother.

Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Kremer, of Farley; four step sons, Chris (Gail) Hefel, of Farley, Dale (Louann) Hefel and Mark (Cate) Hefel, both of Dubuque, and Jay (Brenda) Hefel, of Bettendorf; a step daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Lynn) Hoffmann, of Epworth; 14 grandchildren; his mother, Veronica Kremer, of Bernard; four brothers, Norman "Coosie" (Judy) Kremer, of Cascade, Leonard (Maryann) Kremer and Roger (Nita) Kremer, both of Dubuque, and Willard (Barb) Kremer, of Bernard; five sisters, Mrs. James (Darlene) Reuter and Mrs. Bob (Judy) Langel, both of Dubuque, Mrs. James (Linda) Pfab, of Elpaso, Ill., Mrs. Gene (Joyce) Lochner, of St. Catherine, and Mrs. Allan (Doris) Kramer, of Epworth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold "Whitey" Kremer, in January 1975; a step son, Allan Hefel; two brothers, Earl and Julian Kremer; and three sisters, Grace, Mary and Catherine.

An Arnold M. Kremer Memorial Fund has been established.
