Anna M. Niedermeyer, 81, of Bethany Home, formerly of 469 Emmett St., Dubuque, died at 2:09 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Bethany Home

Memorial Mass will be said at 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, at St. Raphael's Cathedral. Burial was in the Center Grove Cemetery.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1929, in Strawberry Point, daughter of Godfrey and Edith (Neuenkirch) Niedermeyer.

Anna was formerly employed at the Canfield Hotel in housekeeping for 17 years.

She was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral Parish.

Anna enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns. She was a very gentle lady who enjoyed nice things. She was never one to complain and was always pleasant.

Surviving are a sister, Rose Sands, of Waverly.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Litia Lemmer.

Memorials may be given to Bethany Home, 1005 Lincoln Ave., Dubuque, IA 52001.
