Dorothy A. Klostermann, 80, of 250 W. Sixth St., Ecumenical Towers, Dubuque, formerly of Farley, Iowa, died at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000, at The Finely Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a parish rosary at 4:30 p.m., a Farley American Legion Auxiliary service at 6:30 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Klostermann was employed as a cook at Western Dubuque Community Schools until her retirement in 1985.

She was born on April 22, 1920, in New Vienna, Iowa, daughter of John and Mary (Welchert) Roling. She married Ralph F. Klostermann on Jan. 9, 1938, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley; he died on Aug. 4, 1969.

She received her education in the New Vienna area schools. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Farley, a member of it's Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the Farley American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are a brother, Irvin (Margaret) Roling, of Rockford, Ill.; a niece, Elizabeth (Barry) Mendeloff, of Byron, Ill.; two nephews, Joseph Roling, of Rockford, and Richard (Mary) Roling, of Chicago; and four great-nieces.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rose Mary Thomas; and two brothers, Elmer and Harold Roling.

Memorials for Dorothy A. Klostermann, may be given to the Seton School Endowment Fund, Farley, 52046.
