FARLEY, Iowa - Michael D. Fox, 51, of 1003 Pierce St., Sioux City, Iowa, formerly of Farley, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, with the Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Farley, Iowa, where there will be a flag presentation by the Farley American Legion Post 656. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Fox was a tool-and-die operator for Prince Hydraulics, Sioux City.

He was born on Aug. 28, 1950, in Dubuque, son of William and Margaret M. (Postel) Fox.

He graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School, Farley. He was a Navy veteran, having served in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are three sisters, Barbara (Martin) Kennedy and Annie (Randy) Schroeder, both of Farley, and Linda Jarding, of Sioux City; two brothers, Stephen (Vicki) Fox and Neil Fox, both of Norwalk, Calif.; and nieces and nephews, Marty, Willie, Lisa, Wanda, John, Joe, and Ted Kennedy, Billy, Kelly, Nickie, and Samantha Schroeder, Eric Jarding, Steve and Peggy Fox, and Andy and Marla Fox.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Michael D. Fox Memorial Fund has been established.
