Dubuque Daily Times, March 31, 1864

DEPARTED- On Sunday last, David Hickey, aged nineteen years, died of consumption. He was a printer at the Herald office and that paper speaks of him as "a true, faithful, kind-hearted lad, worthy of whatever trust was bestowed upon him-praise enough where many are faithless and so few are true." Two of his brothers work in the Times office.
