Mildred D. "Millie" Bell, 72, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in her home after a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a rosary at 4:30 and wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; three sons, Stephen "Ding" (Marilyn) Bell of Dubuque and Tom and Bill (Jill) Bell, both of Farley; five daughters, Barb (Jerry) Drees, Becky Bell and Bev (Dave) Jasper, all of Farley, Janet (Phil) Then of Peosta and Belinda (Stephen) Siglin of Iowa City; 14 grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine (Clarence) Pins of Farley and Rosella (Clete) Gotto of Holy Cross.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jeffrey Bell; a sister, Marcella Muller; and three brothers, Cletus, Lawrence and Frank Hoefer.

A Mildred D. Bell Memorial Fund has been established.
