Services for Mrs. Clem (Marie S.) Ahmann, 83, 301 4th Ave. N.E., Farley, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a St. Joseph's Parish rosary at 4 p.m., the American Legion Auxiliary will meet to attend the wake at 6:30 p.m., the Farley Fire Department will meet to attend the wake at 7 p.m. and the wake service will be said at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Ahmann was born on Sept. 19, 1912, in White Lake, S.D., daughter of John and Kunnigunda (Jaeger) Soppe. She died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 1995, at Oakcrest Manor, Dyersville.

She married Clem Ahmann on May 1, 1934, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington.

She received her education in White Lake. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Farley, and its altar and rosary society.

Surviving are her husband, Clem Ahmann, of Farley; four daughters, Anna (and Reece) Shaw, of Dubuque , Nancy Link, of Farley, Kathleen (and Kenneth) Boge, of Manchester, and Mary Jane (and Eldon) Koerperich, of Farley; two sons, Clarence "Jim" (and Shirley) Ahmann, of Farley, and Eugene (and Helen) Ahmann, of Bankston; 39 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ludmilla Streeck, of Milbank, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a set of infant twins, John and Joan; a son-in-law, Joseph Link; two granddaughters, Jeanne and Lora; one grandson, Brian; three brothers; and four sisters.

A Marie S. Ahmann Memorial Fund has been established.
