Louise E. Schwendinger

Mrs. John (Louise E.) Schwendinger, 77, of Bethany Home, formerly of 2563 Washington St., died at 7:40 p.m., Friday, March 26, 1993, at Bethany Home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Behr Funeral home, 1491 Main St., where there will be a parish wake service at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Schwendinger was born on April 29, 1916, in Dubuque, daughter of Frank and Margaret (Hoffman) Noesen. She married John M. Schwendinger on September 25, 1940 in Dubuque; he died on April 24, 1974.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and it's rosary society.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Earl (Mary Louise) Hoskins, Mrs. Ron (Margie) Wheeler, Theresa Saunders, Mrs. Larry (Rita) Stevenson, and Mrs. David (Susan) Bender, all of Dubuque; one son, Maurice F. (and Bev) Schwendinger, of DeWitt, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Noesen, of Dubuque; and one brother Paul (and Mary) Noesen of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Luella.
