William E. Schwendinger
EARLVILLE, Ia. -- William E. Schwendinger, 91, of Earlville, died Saturday in Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Manchester, Ia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Farley, Ia. Friends may call at the Clifton Funeral Home in Earlville, where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Delhi, Ia., and Gerald of Farley; three daughters, Irma Schwendinger, at home; Irene Schwendinger, of Springfield, Mo. and Mrs. Earl (Doris) Kehrli of Manchester; 17 grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Schwendinger of Dubuque, and two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Carrie) George of East Dubuque, Ill., and Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Kehoe of Clear Lake, Ia.
