Dorothy was born on January 17, 1920, daughter of George J. and Susie (Lucas) Meyer.

Dorothy married Cletus Finzel on June 26, 1941, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Balltown. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1971.

Dorothy worked at Walsh's, the Battery Factory and eventually retired after spending 20 years at Conrad and Herr Plumbing. She was a joyful member of the Forresters Club, the 62 Plus Club, the Emerald Club, Mercy Advantage and the Finley Club. She was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She spent countless hours tending to her flowers and garden. Dorothy was a tremendous cook and gladly shared her recipes and talents with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, but her greatest joy was definitely found in quality time spent with her grandchildren.

Dorothy was a wonderful wife, a loving mom, a gracious grandma and a faithful friend to many. She will be both sadly and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
