Deceased Name: Albert B. Willenbring

PETERSBURG, Iowa - Albert B. Willenbring, 95, of Petersburg, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, following a brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where the Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.

He was born on Nov. 23, 1911, in Petersburg, son of Louis and Anna (Meyer) Willenbring. He married Anastasia R. Koch on April 23, 1935, in Petersburg, Iowa. They farmed in the Petersburg area all their lives and he worked for the Petersburg Feed Mill and Brunkan Equipment.

Albert was a member of the Dyersville Knights of Columbus Council 1734.

Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Nadermann, of Farley; a daughter-in-law, Jean (Lyle) Harbaugh, of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Lois and Tim Cahill and Joyce and Mark Dudley, both of Worthington, Lori and Marty Smith and Mark and Donna Nadermann, both of Epworth, and Kathy and Kurt Knipper, of Dyersville; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Adella (Clarence) Lahr, of Dyersville; and a brother, Lawrence Willenbring, of Dyersville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, in 1991; a son, William; a son-in-law, LeRoy Nadermann; a brother and his wife, John and Hilda Willenbring; three sisters and their husbands, Rose and Tony Moorman, Irene and Frank Sasson, and Mathilda and Lawrence Rolfes; a sister, Leona Willenbring; a sister-in-law, Verna Willenbring; a brother-in-law and his wife, Lawrence and Julanda Koch; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Loretta and Alfred Goedken.
