WORTHINGTON, Iowa -Judith T. Klaren, 60, of Worthington, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be an Altar & Rosary Society rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish scripture service at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Klaren worked at St. Paul's school for the last 13 years as a secretary.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1945, in Delhi, daughter of Thomas "Ed" and Helen (King) Power. She married James Klaren on Feb. 19, 1966, at St. John's Catholic Church, Delhi.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.

Judy was a former 4-H group leader and an active mother, attending many of her children's events.

Surviving are her husband, Jim, of Worthington; two daughters, Julia Klaren, of Cedar Rapids, and Jill (Shaunesy) Daly, of North Liberty; and two sons, Jonathan Klaren, of San Diego, and Jay Klaren, of Cambridge, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Anna Marie Power, Margaret Wulfekuhle and Janice Fischer.
