WORTHINGTON, Iowa - Robert A. Jesenovec, 64, of Worthington, died Sunday morning, July 1, 2012.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish vigil at 4 p.m.

He was born on June 21, 1948, in Manchester, son of Edmund and Magdalen (Bonert) Jesenovec. He graduated from St. Paul's Catholic High School with the Class of 1966, and began helping his parents on the family farm near Worthington, eventually taking over the farm, where he lived his entire life.

Surviving are two brothers, Gerald (Jane) Jesenovec, of Farley, and David (Jane) Jesenovec, of Hopkinton; a brother-in-law, Edwin Althoff, of Anamosa; a sister-in-law, Wilma Jesenovec, of Hopkinton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Ann Althoff; and a brother, Ernest Jesenovec.
