Ambrose J. Hess, 77, died Thursday, April 13, 1995, in Mercy Hospital, Dubuque, after suffering a heart attack. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Paul Catholic Church, Worthington. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where a parish Scripture service will begin at 3 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Kay; a son, Ed of Worthington; two daughters, Mary Spoden and Judy Johnson, both of Worthington; a sister, Geraldine Engler of Dyersville; and three brothers, Gerald of Dyersville, Don of Clear Lake and A. Michael of Sarasota, Fla.
