WORTHINGTON, Iowa - Loraine A. Lehman, 78, of Worthington, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke and Deacon Fred Pins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6,

at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 5:30 p.m.

She was born on Jan. 11, 1932, in Monticello, daughter of Benhard and Ethel (Young) Kammerman.

She married Gerald R. Lehman on June 6, 1952, in Monticello. Together they owned and operated J & L Lumber in Worthington, for 20 years; he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1994.

Loraine served her community as a sacristan at St. Paul parish for 15 years.

Surviving are her children, Mike (Gail) Lehman, of New Vienna, Deb (Harlan) Johnson, of Monticello, Denny Lehman, of Denver, and Pat (Mike) Colombo, of Seattle; nine grandchildren, Jake (Sandy), Joe (Monica), Jeremy and Jason Lehman, Jolene (Lance Taylor) and Juneau Johnson, Jennifer and Melissa Lehman and Brian Farmer; four great-grandchildren; two siblings, Bertha (Carl) Starr, of Manchester, and John (Janice) Kammerman, of Kentucky; in-laws, Mary Kammerman, of Texas, Gib Lehman, of Farley, Joe (Kay) Lehman, of Cascade, and Ann Marsh, of Anamosa; and very special friend, Rosie (Leo) Heid, of Hopkinton.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Al, Diz and Richard Kammerman; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
