WORTHINGTON, Iowa - Florence Georgen, 92, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Worthington, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, in Sarasota.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Florian J. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Reiff Funeral Home, Dyersville, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on July 3, 1907, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of John and Josephine (Lattner) Georgen.

She attended Iowa State University and Augustine College. She was known as a great artist.

Surviving are several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wendell Georgen.
