Ann C. Connolly, 98 of Dubuque Nursing and Rehab formerly of 1395 Belmont passed away on Sunday February 3, 2013.

Friends may call after 9:00a.m. Thursday February 7th at the church of the Nativity where there will be a parish rosary at 10:00a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30a.m. with Rev. Scott Bullock Officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, New Melleray. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on August 4, 1914 in Bernard, Iowa the daughter of John p. and Anna C. (Haley) Connolly. She attended Visitation Academy and is a member of the Alumni and Nativity Parish. She was an avid reader and taught school in rural schools in Dubuque County. She then worked for Fire and Marine Insurance and the Telegraph Herald. She lastly worked at Loras College until her retirement in 1973 where she was the Post Office Mistress.

She is survived by a sister-in-law Joan Connolly of Cascade, and seven nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Justin, John and Maurice, and sisters Marie and Hellen.
