James A. Klostermann
James A. Klostermann, 45, of 3075 Lindale, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a wake service at 2:45 p.m.
Mr. Klostermann worked for Uelner Tool & Die for the past 10 years.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1959, in Dubuque, son of Alfred and Lorraine (Weber) Klostermann.
He married Nancy Gaul, daughter of Marvin and Germaine Gaul, of Holy Cross, Iowa, on June 29, 1985.
He was enlisted in the Navy from 1980 to 1986.
He had a great sense of humor and a carefree spirit.
He enjoyed Harleys, fishing and watching NASCAR.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, Nancy, of Dubuque; a son, Chad Klostermann, and a daughter, Kristin Klostermann, both of Dubuque; 2 brothers, Don (Roxanne) Klostermann and Tom Klostermann, both of Dyersville, Iowa; a sister, Joyce (Ron) Peiffer, of Marion, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and 2 uncles. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association in James' name.
