GESKE, PETERS, ROBINSON, MCLAUGHLIN, COOK

John J. Geske, 60, employed by the Dubuque Park board for 15 years, died at Finley hospital at 7:45 Sunday morning after an illness of three years. His residence was 2050 Blake street.

The body may be viewed at the Didesch Funeral home, from where the funeral will be held to the Church of the Nativity at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery.

Born at Marquette, Ia., July 27, 1884, he came to Dubuque 22 years ago. He was a Catholic and attended Nativity church. Mr. Geske also was a member of the AFL City and County Employes union.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rose M. Peters Geske, to whom he was married at St. Joseph's church, Key West, Aug. 16, 1910; two sons, Lyle Geske, Davenport, and Glenn Geske, Dubuque; two daughters, Mrs. L. (Mae) Robinson and Miss Marlene Geske, both of Dubuque; three grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Anna) McLaughlin and Mrs. George (Mary) Cook, both of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons.
