June E. Wechet, 74, of 1734 N. Paulina, Chicago, formerly of Dubuque, died at 10:43 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Illinois Masonic Hospital, Chicago.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, where friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1932, in Dubuque, daughter of Frank and Mary (Altman) Bresee.

Surviving are a son, Douglas (Sheryl) Wechet, of Chicago; two daughters, Norma Jollotta and Tracy (Steve) Noble, both of Chicago; 14 grandchildren, Toni, Kathleen (Paul) Smolen, Rob, Michelle, Anthony, June, Steven, Michael, Jacob, Joey, Nicholas, Scott, Brandon and Charis; three sisters, Betty Foley, of California, Violet Chavina, of Chicago, and Mary Clark, of Dubuque; and her daughter-in-law, Diane (Joe) Lofthouse.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Jr.; and a daughter, Michelle Wechet.
