Margaret M. Hiher, 94, of Ennoble Manor, formerly of 2650 Nebraska St., died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Ennoble Manor.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery.

She was born on June 18, 1914, in Dubuque, daughter of Herman and Phillippina (Brenner) Hiher.

Margaret worked as a presser at the former Dubuque Laundry, now called Premier Linen and Dry Cleaning.

She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and fishing.

Margaret cared about her nieces and nephews very much and was thankful for their support and love through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Arthur and Gustav Hiher; and three sisters, Louise Furlong, and her two sons, Walter and Leo Furlong, Sophie Freisinger, and Anna Herbstreith.
