Epworth, Iowa

Mrs. William (Margaret K.) Mausser of Epworth died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 1989, at home after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Epworth, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where the scripture wake service will be said at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Mausser was a homemaker.

She was born on Oct. 16, 1910, in Cascade, daughter of Henry and Clista (Schaffer) Kremer. She married Melvin Nickol in April 1932 in Cascade; he died on Feb. 11, 1941. She later married William Mausser on Jan. 29, 1946, in Monticello; he survives.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its altar and rosary society.

Also surviving are three daughters, Dr. Joan Nickol Tauke of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Feldmann and Bonnie Burns, both of Epworth; three sons, Marvin Nickol of Dyersville, Bill Mausser Jr. of Epworth and Ronald Mausser of Oelwein; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Schemmel of Farley, Mrs. Charles (Esther) Schemmel of Cascade and LaVonne Pasker of Dubuque; and three brothers, Jack, Nicholas and Henry Kremer, all of Cascade.

A Margaret K. Mausser Memorial Fund has been established.
