Victor A. Bleile
Services for Victor A. Bleile, 85, of 2835 Central Ave., formerly of Balltown, Iowa, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Ghost Church.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. (rest of paragraph omitted)
Mr. Bleile farmed near Balltown for many years, until his retirement. For the past number of years he was caretaker at Four Mounds.
He was born on March 23, 1905, in Balltown, son of Jacob and Bertha (Brimeyer) Bleile. He died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 1990, at Mercy Health Care Center St. Joseph's Unit.
He married Margaret M. Heber on Nov. 23, 1926, in Balltown; she survives.
He was a member of Holy Ghost Church, its rosary society and senior citizens.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Dolores) Reinert and Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) Heiderscheit, both of Dubuque; three sons, Raphael, Leon and Cletus, all of Dubuque; 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Romulda Hansen of Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by a son, Delbert J. Bleile on Sept. 6, 1988; and two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A Victor A. Bleile Memorial Fund has been established.
