Frank G. Schiesl

Frank G. Schiesl, 70, of 718 Clarke Drive, died at 3:50 p.m. Monday at the Dubuque County Nursing Home.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Strueber Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. A. W. Sigwarth, pastor, will sing the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.

Mrs. Schiesl was a member of the Dubuque Post of the American Legion, the Dubuque Voiture of the 40 and 8, and the Veterans of World War I.

He was born at Dubuque, son of John and Margaret Lorenz Schiesl, and was a lifelong resident of Dubuque.

He had been employed at the Farley and Loetscher Mfg. Co. until his retirement in 1962.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Otto, Dubuque, and Mrs. Larry (Bertha) Barr, Sioux City, Ia. Two brothers, John Jr. and Joseph Schiesl and a sister, Anna, died earlier.

The parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
